Evaluation & Polling

Audience Response Systems

For the Academic Year 2014-15, we will be using ResponseWare from TurningTechnologies, Inc. First year medical students in the Class of 2018 will access this system via an app which will be pre-installed on their iPads. A faculty tutorial is available on the Himmelfarb Library website.

Faculty designing questions for in-class audience response may find Derek Bruff's Classroom Response Systems web site useful.

Evaluation

The Class of 2018 will take exams on their iPads, using the ExamSoft app SofTest-M for iPad. again pre-installed on their iPads. Faculty and students should use the GW University account to login to SofTest-M.

Polling

Additionally, we utilize Qualtrics for polling functions that do not involve high-stakes, secure examinations.
