Medical student research day invites all medical students at the George Washington University to showcase their work through submission of abstracts and selected oral presentations. Awards will be presented for outstanding abstracts.
Medical student research day is distinct from the university-wide research day and is designed to highlight the breadth of research and scholarly activity that medical students have accomplished during their education at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. All medical students are invited to present research regardless of the area of focus. We anticipate that abstract submissions will represent a broad range of research interests and disciplines, including basic and translational science, clinical research, health policy and public health research, and education-related research.
Medical student research day will be held on Friday, May 7th from noon – 5 pm. It will be a virtual event with live presentations from a distinguished plenary speaker, as well as selected student oral presentations of their work. All medical students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this showcase!
