Faculty from GW and CNH are invited to submit research opportunities for a medical student summer research project. Only one proposal per faculty member should be submitted. These projects typically run 8 weeks during the summer and it is important that the student learns about hypotheses, study design, analysis and other aspects of research training to develop their future as investigators. Students should review these proposals and contact faculty to apply for research opportunities.
Students are encouraged to apply for fellowships to support summer research. These include external national fellowships and awards and internal fellowships such as W.T. Gill Jr. Summer Research Fellowship and the Health Services Research Fellowships.
