The Dean has the authority to manage space within the school to optimize its use for academic and research goals. In general, space allocations will be made to meet strategic priorities and s/he may create “Dean’s reserves” for space that is vacated or underutilized. Space allocation is typically not permanent and is reviewed periodically.
Animal Procedure Room Assignment, Ross Hall.
In response to investigator requests, a new process has been developed to assign and review the use of animal procedure rooms within the vivarium that support research.
This process allows the space to be used as proposed for six months. Please also use this form by checking the “renew” box to request a renewal. Any renewal requests will be compared with the room usage calendar.
Investigators are asked to complete this form to describe the proposed use and room requirements in detail. The form will be reviewed first by the OAR Director, for compliance and regulatory requirements; then reviewed by the Sr. Assoc. Dean Research for scientific benefit and program; then reviewed by the Dean/ Vice Dean for institutional approval. Upon final signature, the approved form will automatically be sent to the investigator and signatories.
As you complete your portion of the form, please note that you must add your signature and press move to next step to advance the form to the next reviewer.
