A little over a month ago, a new class of PA students walked onto the GW Foggy Bottom Campus, and on June 28, they took another major step in their professional aspirations by donning short white coats during convocation. 

Graduates from the GW Physician Assistant Program Class of 2019 received their long white coats during GW Commencement Weekend.

Students at SMHS presented Golden Apple Awards to selected faculty at Follies.

Susan LeLacheur, DrPH ’08, MPH ’89, PA-C, BS ’82, associate professor of physician assistant studies at SMHS, received the Master Faculty Award at the 2018 Physician Assistant Education Association Education Forum.

Howard Straker, MPH, PA-C, assistant professor of physician assistant studies, was elected as president of the Physician Assistant Education Association. 

The GW PA Program recognized faculty for their dedication to the profession and to educating students in the program.
