Over 100 faculty members at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences were recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as 2017 Top Doctors.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Robinson, MD, PGY-III, in the Department of Dermatology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, on receiving two research awards.

Urgent Matters, Philips Blue Jay Consulting, and Schumacher Clinical Partners are pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Emergency Care Innovation of the Year Award, a competition to foster innovation in emergency departments nationwide.

Robert Siegel, MD '77, was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor given to alumni by the university and the GW Alumni Association.

The GW Center for Healthcare Innovation and Policy Research at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences is now accepting submissions for the 2017-18 GW Hospital Leadership in Innovation Practice Awards. 

The Office of International Medicine Programs welcomed participants, faculty, and staff to the annual event, which included recognition of outstanding faculty and the accomplishments of the program.

At the 2017 World Confederation for Physical Therapy in South Africa, a handful of platform presentation awards were announced, with faculty from GW's School of Medicine and Health Sciences scooping up two of them.

Karen Lewis, PhD, director of administration of the Standardized Patient Program and the CLASS Center at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences was awarded the ASPE Outstanding Educator of the Year Award.

In January 2017, the Society of Government Service Urologists awarded Harold Frazier, MD, professor of urology at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Outstanding Service Award.

The prestigious fellowship provides $32,000 in funding for a year of cardiovascular research, with a bonus of $8,000 for travel expenses to find the ideal lab.
