On May 17, the M.D. Class of 2013 donned their finest attire and headed out to the Fairmont hotel for an evening of recognition and fun. The evening began with a cocktail hour, where the class, their family and friends mixed and mingled—and prepared for an evening to remember.
During dinner, the senior class awards were presented by faculty members and school leadership. Many of the recipients were pleasantly surprised when they approached the stage, as they were unaware they had been chosen to receive these awards. The faculty and the students enjoyed cheering on their colleagues and peers as they celebrated the evening, and as expected, the evening came to a monumental moment when the class valedictorian, Nisha Varadarajan, was announced.
The class spent the entire evening treasuring the time they had left together, before they graduated medical school and moved on to the next chapter of their careers. It was certainly an evening of enjoyment, high-style, and memories.
