USA Today - Scientists Find Gene Mutation That Spurs Early Puberty

Paul Kaplowitz, M.D., professor of pediatrics, commented in USA Today on the rising number of cases of early puberty, an issue of growing concern to doctors. Research suggests that as children begin developing earlier and earlier, they have an increased risk of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
