The New Staff Directory is LIVE!

The Staff Directory is now live and we are ready to start collecting your information via our online form. The only required fields in this form contain publicly available information. Everything else is optional. The form will ask for:

  • Headshot
  • Short, 200-word bio
  • A non-work related interest or hobby about who you are as a person

If you choose not to provide a headshot, a generic placeholder will be put in its place. We ask that all staff confirm their functional working area, e.g. Department of Clinical Research, and team, e.g. Biomedical Informatics, since our Human Resources designations do not always match our day-to-day place organizational structure.

We would love for everyone to submit by March 31, 2026. Updates will be made on a rolling basis and are dependent on staff availability.

SMSH Professional Development Committee: Supports staff by identifying existing professional development, highlighting and promoting staff leading professional development, and designing necessary but missing professional development opportunities for career advancement. This committee plans the design, development, and promotion of growth opportunities for SMHS staff. 2026 projected meetings will take place every 4 weeks with some communication between meetings. Email: hmwilliams [at] gwu [dot] edu (hmwilliams[at]gwu[dot]edu) for more information.

Emergency Preparedness

Building emergency preparedness is an essential part of keeping ourselves and our coworkers safe. If you would like to learn more about the team and are interested in becoming a floor warden (training is provided), please contact Haldon Lindstrom at haldon12 [at] gwu [dot] edu (haldon12[at]gwu[dot]edu).
