Healio - Despite Guidelines, PID Treatment Variable Among ED Clinicians

Monika Goyal, M.D., assistant professor of pediatrics, was featured in Healio for her analysis of 2000-2009 data from the National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey, finding that only 37.1% of girls with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) were treated according to the CDC treatment guidelines.
