Doctors Lounge - Clopidogrel Does Not Reduce Mortality in Shunted Infants

David Wessel, M.D., professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine, was featured in Doctors Lounge for his recent research finding that in infants less than 3 months old with congenital heart disease and a systemic-to-pulmonary-artery shunt, clopidogrel does not reduce mortality compared with placebo. The research was published in the June 20 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.
