David Borenstein, M.D., clinical professor of medicine, commented on a study featured in Pain Medicine News finding that early use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose low back pain among patients filing workers’ compensation claims may not lead to better outcomes compared with delayed imaging.
