The George Washington University (GW) Commencement Weekend celebrations kicked off on May 13 with the 83rd annual Kane King Dodek Obstetrics Honor Society reception, honoring the year’s outstanding faculty, residents, and students.
Griffin P. Rodgers, MD, FEL ‘89, director of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2018 MD Diploma Ceremony, held on Sunday, May 20, at 2:30 p.m. at Lisner Auditorium.
Lieutenant General Nadja Y. West, M.D. '88, will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2017 M.D. Diploma Ceremony, held on Sunday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. at Lisner Auditorium. She will also receive an honorary degree of Doctor of Public Service at GW Commencement, held on the National Mall.
