The George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences is pleased to announce that its Undergraduate Online Programs are now ranked in the top 25 programs nationally in the U.S. News and World Report Best Online Bachelors Programs rankings this year. The programs have an overall score of 85/100.

The GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences offers bachelor's degree programs focused on areas such as clinical health sciences, clinical management and leadership, clinical research administration, emergency medical services, disaster response, biomedical informatics, medical laboratory sciences, and more.
The ranked programs are the best online bachelor's degree programs in the country, based on factors such as graduation rates, indebtedness of new graduates, and academic and career support services offered to students.
The majority of students enrolled in these programs have earned at least some prior college credit. Rather than first-time college students, they are more likely to be working professionals in their 20s to 40s looking to advance in or change their careers. The U.S. News and World Report chose factors that weigh how these programs are being delivered and their effectiveness at awarding affordable degrees in a reasonable amount of time.
U.S. News and World Report assessed schools based on four general categories, carrying different weights:
- Student engagement (35 percent)
- Student services and technology (25 percent)
- Faculty credentials and training (20 percent)
- Peer reputation (20 percent)
