Research Interests

Dr. Figueiredo's research focuses on quality of life, burnout among healthcare professionals, patient safety & transition of care, creating innovative measurement strategies to contribute evidence to patient-centered outcomes, and developing programs to improve seniors' outcomes. She has expertise in program development and evaluation, in designing and conducting randomized controlled studies, cross-sectional surveys, longitudinal prospective studies, and systematic reviews. She has a strong background in quantitative methodology and data analysis, having used complex statistics models such as group-based trajectory modeling.
