Research interests are in the severity of illness, morbidity, pediatric critical care, is main focus has been measuring severity of illness and applying these methodologies to investigations of outcomes in pediatric critical care, emergency medicine, and neonatology. Dr. Pollack's research focuses on predicting multiple outcome states (new morbidity as well as mortality) from pediatric critical care.
