Dr. Pratt-Chapman's research has addressed clinical guideline development and workforce capacity to advance patient-centered care and health equity. They provide technical assistance and training on evidence-based cancer control strategies and health equity nationally to U.S. states, tribes, and territories. Ten years of continuous funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute has supported this work. She has a special interest in improving the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) populations.
