Kelly Gebo, MD, MPH

Dr. Kelly Gebo is a nationally recognized physician-scientist whose research focuses on health disparities in the treatment of infectious diseases. Her primary areas of investigation include HIV and associated conditions such as hepatitis. Her work centers on health services research, analyzing clinical outcomes and healthcare utilization patterns among individuals living with HIV. She co-led the HIV Research Network, a longitudinal cohort study that tracked the care and outcomes for thousands of patients across high-volume clinical sites, providing crucial data that has informed national guidelines. Beyond HIV, her collaborative clinical research has extended to other pressing public health challenges such as COVID-19 and MPOX.
