ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) is a brain development condition that typically causes inattention symptoms in those born with the disorder.  Women often have different ADHD symptoms that are easily overlooked. It doesn't help that little research explores the effects of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) on girls and women. There’s evidence that there are more women and people assigned female at birth (AFAB) with ADHD than previously thought.
