Registration is now open for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR):  Learn to manage everyday stress, chronic pain, and illness more effectively during an 8-week workshop taught online via Zoom by GW's Nina Paul through the GW Center for Integrative Medicine. Participants will meet for 2.5 hours once a week with one all day retreat.

Free orientation session: 5/17/23 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. ET
Classes will run from: 5/24/2024 to 7/12/23 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. ET
All Day Retreat: 6/25/23 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 pm ET
Where: All sessions are held online through Zoom.
Fee: $600

The sessions will include: 

  • Guided activities, including body scans, mindful yoga, stretching, and other  movements to learn how to listen to your physical body;
  • Teacher-led instruction in mindfulness meditation practices;
  • Exercises to improve awareness in everyday life;
  • Interactive learning with group dialogue and mindful communication. Daily at-home assignments, reading materials and guided audio meditations.
