Rebecca C. Keith, MD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at National Jewish Health and University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She has served as the Medical Director for Outpatient Pulmonary Clinics at National Jewish Health and been appointed the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Medicine. Keith earned her medical degree at The Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY. She completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, followed by her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. Furthermore, she received the Reuben M. Cherniack Distinguished Service Award in 2022. Keith aims to contribute to the understanding of the pathogenesis of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and autoimmune lung disease via basic, translational, and clinical research with the ultimate aim to improve quality of life for patients with pulmonary fibrosis. She has a strong interest in autoimmune lung disease and the intersection between innate immunity and the development of fibrotic lung disease.
