Description |
An elective in the Gastroenterology/Hepatology Section of the Washington DC VA Medical Center will include exposure to a spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases through rotations in the inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics. Students will also have the opportunity to observe a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Students will work closely with the GI fellows and have daily teaching rounds with the GI/Hepatology attending physicians. The elective includes attendance and participation in various weekly GI/ Hepatology educational conferences and seminars. Please contact the GI office for additional information. |
