Uniform Clinical Evaluation

Description

The student performs as an acting intern on one of the inpatient psychiatric teams at the Children’s National Health System (CNHS). The student is expected to have prior psychiatry clerkship experience. During this rotation, the student will acquire clinical skills necessary in evaluation and treatment of child and adolescent patients and their families. Required written reports include daily progress notes, admission notes, and discharge summaries. Elective papers such as literature reviews or full case reports with discussion may be submitted by the student to augment their experience.
