WTOP-FM - Halted Medicaid Payments Threaten D.C. Children's Health

David Wessel, M.D., professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine, talked to WTOP about D.C. being barred from making Medicaid payments during the federal government shutdown. This means there is no money to cover the cost of medical services for more than 100,000 kids from low-income families.
