On Sept. 9, 2021, NASA Astronaut Kjell Lindgren, MD, MPH, presented Grand Rounds to an SMHS audience of students, faculty and staff. During his remarks, he reflected on his journey to becoming an astronaut, spoke about the goals he set for himself, and talked about moments that did not go as planned. He gave a first-hand account of what helped him overcome the challenges he faced and how he continued to work toward his goals, even in the face of adversity.
