Master Teacher Leadership Development Program

Juliet Lee, MD, MA ’17, joined the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program to take the next step in gaining new skills and instruction in education and leadership. The year-long program was developed in 2002 as a partnership between GSEHD and SMHS.

Reflection, the act of serious thought or consideration, was the theme of the day June 14 as members of the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program Cohort 15 gathered to celebrate their graduation from the program.

Members of Cohort 14, their friends and family members, and deans and colleagues from GW’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) and Children’s National Health System (Children’s National) gathered for graduation from the prestigious program.

The Master Teacher Leadership Development Program fosters innovation through teamwork.

During a graduation celebration June 12, 11th cohort of the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program (MTLDP) presented a glimpse of the results they achieved during a year-long leadership development program for faculty in medicine, health sciences, and basic sciences.

Life-long learning is a commonplace, throwaway line that seems to work its way into nearly every graduation ceremony. Every graduation that is, except for the 10th Cohort of the Master Teacher Leadership Development Program (MTLDP).
