Students Aware of Four Loko Risks, Keep Drinking

A number of college students have been hospitalized recently after drinking Four Loko, but students at the University of Maryland, College Park, say they're aware of the drink's effects and know their own limits. Daniel Lieberman, M.D., professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, says the caffeine in the drink masks the effect of the alcohol, encouraging people to drink more than the normally would.
