Medical Spas Face New Scrutiny

As less invasive cosmetic treatments such as Botox come within financial reach for an increasing number of patients, concerns are growing about who is performing these procedures and whether they are being done safely. Lawrence Green, M.D., assistant clinical professor of Dermatology in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, says that each state makes its own rules and in many cases people who are not properly trained are performing these procedures.
