Journal of the National Cancer Institute - Young-Adult Cancer Survivors Face Unique Challenges

Anne Willis, M.A., director of the division of cancer survivorship and Center for the Advancement of Cancer Survivorship, Navigation and Policy at the GW Cancer Institute, April Barbour, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor of medicine, and Mandi Pratt-Chapman, M.A., associate director of community programs at the GW Cancer Institute, were featured in a recent article published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute on the unique challenges of adolescent cancer survivors. The article mentioned a recent symposium held by the GW Cancer Institute for researchers, clinicians, caregivers, other health care professionals, and survivors to consider optimal interventions for improving care and support for young adult cancer survivors.
