Haiti Facing Cholera Treatment Shortages

Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D., Distinguished Research Professor, Walter G. Ross Professor and Chair, Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, along with colleagues Matthew Waldor of Harvard Medical School and John Clemens of the International Vaccine Institute in South Korea, is urging the government to stockpile vaccines against cholera that could be deployed to parts of the world at high risk of an epidemic.
