Lieberman, professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, was quoted in a Washington Examiner article about Washington, D.C.'s high level of drug and alcohol abuse. Dr. Lieberman says stress from high-pressure careers and poverty can both lead to drug abuse -- and D.C. has large populations that fall into those groups.
