Cholera: Experts Call for Emergency Vaccine Stockpile

Following many large outbreaks of cholera in Haiti, sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and elsewhere, experts, including Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D., Distinguished Research Professor, Walter G. Ross Professor and Chair, Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, are proposing the U.S. establish an emergency stockpile of vaccine.
