Research Interests
As a researcher, Professor Ideishi's work focuses on community accessibility, engagement, and inclusion. His work in community engagement addresses health, education and social system disparities for immigrant and disabled communities. He works toward integrating practice, research, and policy. His work has taken him across the country and globe including Japan, China, Ireland, Russia, and Romania to investigate community engagement of disabled persons.
