Research Interests

Dr. Turner is an expert in ethnographic and mixed methods research. His research examines psychosocial and neurocognitive risk and protective factors, accelerated cognitive aging, and mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) among former NCAA Division I and former NFL athletes. He is skilled in studying the ways in which traumatic brain injury hinders daily living and career planning over time.
