Dr. Mardi Gomberg-Maitland is a distinguished figure in the realm of cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine, with a particular expertise in pulmonary hypertension (PH).Dr. Gomberg-Maitland's research is notably focused on the epidemiology of pulmonary hypertension, imaging the right ventricle, understanding PH associated with left heart disease and chronic thromboembolic disease and the development and evaluation of novel pharmacological therapies for PAH.
