Dr. Spencer’s research explores morphological evolution, phylogeny estimation, systematics, and biogeography. He works primarily with archosaurian reptiles (dinosaurs), using phylogenetics to determine evolutionary relationships, rates of origination and diversification, and patterns of morphological variation through time.
