Research Interests
Dr. Price's research relates to livestock-associated MRSA, foodborne urinary tract infections, the role of the human microbiome in health and disease, and the interface between science and policy to address the growing crisis of antibiotic resistance. In the laboratory, Dr. Price uses molecular approaches to trace the origins of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and develop strategies to block their transmission.
