Dr. Robien's group is currently studying the extent to which dietary exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (especially bisphenols and phthalates) is associated with doxorubicin resistance among women with triple negative breast cancer, as well as the effect of body composition (lean body mass vs. adipose tissue) on chemotherapy toxicity and treatment completion rates among patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
