| Description |
This is a 2 or 4 week elective with a project focusing on a selected topic of Emergency Medicine. Project can involve clinical or bench research but must be approved and directly monitored by a GW Emergency Medicine faculty member. Students should contact course directors at least 12 weeks before their elective is scheduled to begin research preparation. The Research Elective Request Form (Registration Form 2302-RE) found at "Forms for Students" on the MD Registrar website should be completed by the student and signed in advance of starting this elective. Research mentors should provide an evaluation of each student's performance and send to student and registrar; mentors can use the Abbreviated Evaluation & Grade Form (Grade Form 2302-AE) found at "Forms for Faculty & Staff" on the MD Registrar website. |
