Research Requirement:
All residents are required to participate in a research project during their residency program. Options for projects include original research, writing a review article or a quality improvement project.
Research Support:
There is support for residents looking to participate in research projects from faculty and administration. Statistical support is available from the Department of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health. The department encourages residents to submit their projects to be presented at national meetings and will sponsor residents to attend if they have projects accepted as posters or oral presentations.
