Dr. Zheng received her bachelorʼs degree from Beijing University in China, and her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. After completing a Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University, Dr. Zheng received an NIH Pathway to Independence Award and spent another year as an Instructor at Stanford before starting at GWU.
