Continuous Quality Improvement to Eventuate Learning Health Care Systems in Physical Therapy Practice

Cohort 3 students, Emily Balog and Lena Volland together with faculty members Ken Harwood, Paige McDonald, and Philip Van der Wees published an article in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Practice entitled Continuous Quality Improvement to Eventuate Learning Health Care Systems in Physical Therapy Practice. The article describes how to apply a quality improvement framework in therapy practice based upon practice-based evidence in order to facilitate the Institute of Medicine’s vision of Learning Health Systems in rehabilitation.
