Nicole Martino has recently had my first publication. She co-authored a study on Occupational Therapy student perceptions of using Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE). Initially, this was part of my independent study with Nancy Krusen, PhD, OTR/L from University of Nebraska Medical Center. OSCEs are frequently used across health professions educational programs to evaluate student clinical competencies. The purpose of the study was to evaluate student perceptions of OSCE. This experience allowed her to gain more confidence and knowledge in my skills as a new researcher and author.
