Debra Lai

Resident Bio

I’m a buckeye and a graduate of Ohio State University, but chased my love of mountains during medical school in Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. There I discovered my passion for general surgery during my 3rd year rotation while working with a colorectal and general surgeon in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’m interested in pursuing a colorectal fellowship and am excited to work in Washington, D.C. Outside of work, I love to travel, eat good food, go rock climbing, spend time with friends and family, and listen to music.
