The Rodham Institute and the Office for the Vice President for Research will be providing a Research Education Workshop Series. The goal of this series is to provide introductory grants writing and management education to the Rodham Institute small grants applicants and research affiliates. There will be four two-hour sessions to teach Introduction to Program Design and Evaluation, Grant Research and Planning, Basic Grant Proposal Writing, and Grants Management. There will be a focus on public health grants that include community partners.
The sessions will be led by experienced grant professionals. The instructor for the first three sessions will be David Lindeman, CFRE, GPC, CF APMP, a professional grant writer and editor who serves as a Research Development Consultant with GW’s Office of Vice President for Research (OVPR). Mr. Lindeman has twenty years of experience working with academic and nonprofit organizations in education, health, and economic development to develop successful grant proposals to government agencies and private foundations.
