The George Washington University Hospital

The George Washington University Hospital is a 385 bed facility featuring a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Liver and Renal Transplant center, Level 4 Epilepsy Center and Level IIIB NICU. GW provides some of the most technologically advanced care in the region with cutting-edge medical equipment and patient accommodations. This multidisciplinary facility is jointly owned and operated through a partnership between The George Washington University and Universal Health Services, Inc. The more than 820 physicians and 625 nurses serving the hospital are renowned for their clinical expertise in a wide array of specialties including: cancer care, cardiovascular care and cardiac surgery, emergency medicine, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery.
