GW’s Gerald Lazarus Named 22nd Recipient of the David Martin Carter Mentor Award

Gerald Lazarus, M.D. ‘63, member of the George Washington University (GW) Board of Trustees and the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences Dean’s Council, was selected by the American Skin Association to receive the 2014 David Martin Carter Mentor Award. The award was given for his ongoing contributions to the field and to American medicine.

Lazarus is also a founder of the Johns Hopkins Wound Healing Center and professor of dermatology and medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
