The George Washington University mHealth Collaborative is an interdisciplinary group with representation from GW faculty in clinical medicine, public health, biostatistics, and engineering. Members of the group have received grants from government, industry, and private foundations to develop and test mobile and electronic health applications for improving health, including but not limited to the areas of smoking cessation, hypertension, bipolar disorder, diabetes, peritoneal dialysis and prenatal health. In order to implement mHealth solutions, the group has relationships with governmental organizations and commercial partners within the Washington, DC area, nationwide and internationally.
