Lynch lab seeking Postdoc

Illustration of a clockThe Lynch lab at the George Washington University Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Tropical Medicine is currently recruiting for a Postdoctoral position. We are seeking a highly motivated recent PhD graduate for a postdoctoral position to study early B cell responses in HIV-1 infection and vaccination. 

The research focus of the Lynch lab is to investigate the impact of broadly neutralizing antibodies on both the virus and infected cells to explore new avenues for the development of potent preventative and therapeutic agents against HIV infection.

The candidate will perform both genetic analysis of the B-cell repertoire and functional analysis of circulating antibodies. The position requires a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology or similar.  Experience in virologic and immunoassays, cell culture, molecular cloning and protein production is recommended, a strong publication and presentation record desired.
