Title: Program Manager
Genevieve McKenna is a Program Manager for the Office of International Medicine Programs (IMP), School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the George Washington University (GW). As a Program Manager, Genna works with the IMP team to oversee the Summer Research and Medical Enrichment Program, and works with IMP’s partners and affiliates to coordinate clinical rotations for both GW and international medical students as part of the International Clinical Elective Program.
Genna is originally from Chicago and realized her passion for global health when studying and volunteering abroad in Morocco. She completed her Master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on Global Health Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation from the Milken Institute of Public Health at GW in 2018. Genna aspires to improve humanitarian response and services available to displaced communities. She speaks some Arabic and enjoys traveling, hiking, and visiting the many museums in the area.
