Title: Graduate Student Assistant
Genevieve McKenna is a Graduate Student Assistant for the Office of International Medicine Programs (IMP), School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the George Washington University (GW). As a Graduate Student Assistant, Genna works with the IMP team to provide administrative support to various programs and new projects.
Genna is originally from Chicago and realized her passion for global health when studying and volunteering abroad in Morocco. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on Global Health Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation from the Milken Institute of Public Health at GW. After completing her Master’s degree, Genna aspires to improve humanitarian response and services available to displaced communities. She speaks some Arabic and enjoys traveling, hiking, and visiting the many museums in the area.
